Principal Officer, National Children’s Bureau
Matthew is Principal Officer at the National Children’s Bureau. He has led a number of national projects, including a programme of work to improve educational provision for young people in custody and, currently, a Department for Education funded project supporting local areas to improve access an inclusion in the early years. Matthew is also policy advisor and coordinator of the Special Educational Consortium and the Partnership for Well Being and Mental Health in Schools.
Matthew is passionate about working with professionals to put policy and legislation into practice and is committed to the belief that the best national policies are only ever as good as how they are implemented locally.
